Happy Birthday Parliament Project! Can you believe it! It’s been a year! A whole year, since we began this journey of un-plugging and self discovery. We’ve had the incredible opportunity to not only meet some pretty amazing people, but also learn a lot about ourselves. Together we have connected with each other in an effort to recharge, transform, and heal ourselves from the daily stresses that afflict us. Together we have sat down and actually talked about the topics that we don’t talk about and now, a year later, we are fortunate enough to have gained the knowledge we have about ourselves, our world, and our happiest place in it.
Here’s a recap of the Parliament Project Birthday party!
Reflecting on our Year Together
Last Thursday, we celebrated a year together. We shared a table, broke bread, and toasted s’mores. We talked about our journeys together and our vision for our futures moving forward. Over a night on the rooftop of s’mores and storytelling, we shared our most coveted and intimate memories over the last year.
On Our Tables
Because of the holidays, we decided on a modern day Thanksgiving meal, thanks to Kara Elise (@bykaraelise). We feasted on a myriad of toasted loaves (pumpernickel, rye, challah, ciabatta, and warmed asiago), rosemary chicken breast, cranberry and almond couscous, and finished off with a delicious dessert of apple cobbler paired with butter pecan ice cream.
Want to Join the Party?
If you’re interested in joining the party, our Parliament Project is a intimate dinner series to aid and reestablish each individual’s connection with themselves. During these events, expect to converse, engage in group and solo meditiave, and pyscho/physio work, and leave enlightened and alive. We value the regenerative reflection that comes with unplugging, so no phones!
We induct applicants who share the cornerstones of our community with elevated values in introspective thinking and self-reflection while pursuing social change.
Some of our inductees include Marrin Costello, a jewelry designer, Josh Rosebrook, founder of Josh Rosebrook Skincare, and Jeannie Jarnot, the founder of Beauty Heros.
Your membership includes induction to the Parliament Project, a monthly seat at our collective dinner with dinner, drinks, and a swag bag, and additional access to events throughout a calendar year with like-minded individuals.
