Hey Beauty Birds! I’ve just gotten back from one of the most amazing trips of my life! I spent the entire month of October in Bali living as a digital nomad. Each morning I woke up, walked to my coworking space to work for a few hours, grabbed a late lunch, and ventured out to explore and enjoy the rest of my afternoon. If you have any questions about Bali or being a digital nomad, feel free to send me an email at grayson@skinowl.com.
One of the most amazing things about Bali has to be the food scene. On every street corner you discover another cafe full of delicious, healthy choices. I ate my way though Bali without any guilt thanks to the incredible selection of flavorful vegan food. In honor of this trip to Bali, I thought I’d share how to eat your way though Bali in a week!

Monday
If you’re plant-based like me, you can’t miss Give Cafe. This adorable vegan spot is not only incredibly Instagram-able, it also has an amazing menu that even non-vegans will love. I’d hit this spot for brunch!
For dinner, you can’t miss Luigi’s Hot Pizza. This spot serves fresh napoleon style pizzas for just a couple bucks. Plus, on Monday nights, they have a DJ and the restaurant turns into a dance party around 9.

Tuesday
If you’re still reeling from having more fun than usual on a Monday night (it’s vacation though right!), I’d check out Copenhagen Cafe for breakfast. If you’re all about the Scandinavian minimalism trend, then this cafe is for you. Design your own breakie plate via their user-friendly checklist menu. You can’t forget to indulge in their cinnamon roll!
If it’s early afternoon and you’re feeling an adventure, jump on a go-jeck (Bali’s famous bike taxis) and head to Seminyak to give Kynd Community a try. Another instagram famous spot, this cafe is a vegan dream land. Make sure to give one of their smoothie bowls a try; they’ll write your name in mango on it!
When dinner time rolls around, head to Moana. This is definitely a spot for those craving a taste of the sea, so veggie lovers will have to ask for an option sans fish, but it’s worth it. They’ll make you a poke bowl with sweet potato instead of tuna, and man, that’s some good stuff!

Wednesday
Wednesdays on vacation are all about starting off slow, so I’d take the morning to enjoy the pool at your villa before grabbing a bite at Shady Shack. A must-see spot, this cafe is the perfect place to remind you how beautifully tropical Bali is. Their food is colorful, fresh, and sure to impress. Make sure to give their Garden Rolls a try.
For dinner, mix things up by grabbing sushi at Koi Batu Bolong. Don’t let this place fool you, this sushi has been Bali-ified. The rolls are delicious and innovative and the vegan options are perfect for avocado lovers.
Looking for a night out on the town? You can’t miss Old Man’s beach club. Wednesday is their biggest night, so show up in your Bali uniform of jean shorts and a crop top and you’re in for a good time.

Thursday
For Thursday brunch, you have to give The Common a try! This open air restaurant is the perfect spot to relax with a cup of coffee or a smoothie and people watch. My favorite menu item has to be their Commoner Bowl with black pepper tofu.
For an afternoon snack, you can’t miss the Loft. Use this opportunity to grab another snap for the gram while you indulge in my favorite vegan Oreo cheesecake. I promise it’s worth it!
For dinner we’re going carb central with Bottega Italiana. At this Italian spot, you can mix and match your fresh pasta of choice with a classic Italian sauce. They even have pasta for vegans and one that’s gluten free! You’re tastebuds can’t miss this trip to Italy.

Friday
It’s finally Friday! That means we’re starting off with brunch at Crate Cafe. This is my favorite spot to sit and admire Bali’s selection of beautiful surfers while indulging in an avocado toast or tofu scramble.
At night, head to The Lawn. A little on the bougier side for Bali, this spot is great for grabbing drinks with your girl friends. I’d come here to snack on some of their little plates and watch the sunset. Make sure you stick around, this place gets pretty wild on Friday nights!
Hanging around a little longer? Here’s some other yummy spots that will help you eat your way through Bali: the Mocca , Cocomo Canggu, and the Motion Cafe.
