In the zodiac, the astrological calendar begins with Aries and ends with Pisces. The arrival of Aries season is symbolic of the beginning of a new cycle. The rebirth of a concept or construct. On March 19th, the sun will enter Aries and begin Aries season. Aries energy is fierce, enthusiastic, and motivated. It’s like a newborn child seeing and experiencing everything for the first time, and the wonders that come from getting back to our real physical world. It’s coming at an unprecedented time in our lives on a global level. It’s a time where solutions are being searched for with urgency and light is being shined on the cracks in our institutions. Between the timing of these events in combination with the powerful Mercury retrograde in Pisces this past month, we are living through a moment in history devoted to our healing – whether that be our physical bodies or the collective on a larger scale. It’s a time to come back to our sense of innate humanity and we are within the perfect divine timeline to begin.
On the 21st, the disciplined and structured Saturn will enter innovative Aquarius, which it has not occupied since 1994. Saturn in Aquarius suggests we look beyond our boundaries through a new lens. Saturn will form a square aspect with Uranus in Taurus, which brings an assertive and unapologetic influence to experiment with new ideas and break free from our status quo. On the 24th, the new moon in Aries brings more fuel to the fire to begin a new endeavor with zeal. It’s a time to reevaluate our relationship with ourselves through action and experience. On March 30th, Mars also enters Aquarius and adds even more energy to the idea of operating unconventionally.
Venus entering Gemini on April 3rd may offer us a breath of lightness, curiosity, and childlike enthusiasm within our relationships. With spring unfolding, this will offer us the whimsical feeling of the endless possibility of knowing something exciting could be right around the corner. Newness is starting to blossom and things will feel fresh. The next day on the 4th, Jupiter is conjuct Pluto. Jupiter is the planet of expansion and Pluto is the planet that represents transformation, death and rebirth. This is a cosmic offering for us to better ourselves. We may have a new sense of faith as we take different steps towards accomplishing any social or material goals. It’s a time aimed towards investing our time and energy into our ambitions. The 11th brings Mercury to also enter Aries territory. Mercury in Aries energy is all about the big picture and getting right to the point. There’s no sugar coating here, and it’s take it or leave it.
The full moon on April 7th falls in Libra. Our inner selves want fairness, a sense of calm peace, and freedom. The full moon symbolizes a time of fulfillment and the nature of Libra will give a sense of caring ease towards the completion of our personal cycle that we started with the new moon.
A lot is happening in all of our worlds right now. Astrology is never a prediction, but more of a reflection. The cosmos are revealing that we are in the midst of deep change on individual and global levels. It’s a time for evolution and it would seem that we are waking up to all of the systems that do not serve us or our sense of humanity. We are being given a divine opportunity to move in the direction of growth and healing and there’s no better time to start than Aries season.
